Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Ferreira completed her undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego with a Magna Cum Laude distinction, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. After graduation, she decided to pack up and head east from California to begin dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ. There, she graduated at the top of her class with her Doctor of Dental Medicine!

What Kind of Dental Accolades Do You Have?

When Dr. Ferreira graduated from dental school, she was the proud recipient of several honors, including the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, the Western Society of Periodontology Award, the American College of Prosthodontics Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Award. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Ferreira is currently married to James, her college sweetheart. They have two adorable rescue puppies, named Frank & Yoda. They love spoiling them every chance they get! She also has a passion for all kinds of sports, including baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. She was recruited to play soccer in college, and her team went on to win a West Coast Conference Championship – the 1st in the University of San Diego’s history! She was additionally captain of her NCAA Division 1 women’s soccer team.
